Touching Grass is a one-day exhibition exploring themes of sexuality and gender, isolation and connection, belonging and loneliness, and how these intersect with our relationship to the natural world. Artists will respond in diverse media, alongside a program of readings and performances. Together, we’ll lie in the grass, swim, and share space with each other and with nature. The community-based, non-hierarchical, feminist event will take place outdoors on August 29th, from 14:00–19:00 at Donauinsel, near Donaustadtbrücke (U2).
